COTTAGE
Situated in Arsos on the hillside
of the Laona Mountains (1092m altitude), facing a wide
horizon area from the Diarizos River down to Paphos
seaside. Arsos can boast of the best bakery and wineries
in the district with the added benefit of locally produced
wines, zivinia, herbs, honey, fruits, vegetables, pottery..
The village atmosphere and unspoilt surrounding countryside
is especially relaxing, a conducive environment for
walking, writing, painting and retreating.

Using traditional methods and
materials, a local family built the house just over
a hundred years ago. Originally the upstairs rooms would
have been the living quarters, the lower floor used
for the production of wine and the kitchen was situated
in the garden next to the old bread oven. Although
many modern facilities have been installed, great care
has been taken to retain as much of the original character
as possible; this is a family home that reflects the
spirit of Cyprus whilst offering a wonderful holiday.
