We do real food, wherever
feasible organic but always well sourced. Vegetables from
Borough Market, fish from Mersea Island, meat from McKenna's
in Theobold's Road and bread made fresh, daily, on the
premises. Good ingredients - the best oils, butters, cheeses,
freshly ground spices - the prerequisite to good food.
A small menu freshly
cooked on the day, always something interesting for
veggies and vegans. Goulash, Tangine, Chillies, Soups,
Rice, Pastas. Our aim - simple and delicious at a very
affordable price.
With 24 hours notice
we will cook a special meal just for your table (parties
of 6 and over). A dish of your choice; poached salmon
to share, lamb marinaded in red wine & brandy and
cooked all afternoon slowly and lovingly just for you.
So get your friends together and enjoy.
We like sharing
even if it's just 2 spoons in the pud. As for the Strudel
(Austrian chef) and Treacle Tart....
